Storytime in the Planetarium!

This event is part of the Summer Reading Challenge

This summer we’re taking our mobile planetarium on tour around Bath and North East Somerset!

Listen to out of this world stories, enjoy the view of outer space and watch magical illustrations dancing above your heads. Stories may include:

  • Look Up! by Nathan Bryon and Dapo Adeloa
  • Caroline’s Comets by Emily Arnold McCully
  • How the stars came to be by Poonam Mistry

After your visit into the planetarium, join us for a space themed craft to take home!

The story time will last approximately 30 minutes, but please allow 45 minutes in total. Craft activities will be available throughout the day.

Suitable for ages 4-11

This event is part of the Herschel200 programme of family activities, led by the Herschel Museum of Astronomy to commemorate 200 years since the death of William Herschel, world famous astronomer and musician. Find out more about the Herschel200 project here: https://herschelmuseum.org.uk/herschel-200/
