William Herschel discovered the Planet Uranus on 13th March 1781, from 19 New King Street, Bath, the house he lived in with his sister Caroline, now the site of ‘The Herschel Museum of Astronomy’.
This year, we commemorate 200 years since the death of William Herschel with a programme special exhibitions and events, celebrating his life and achievements.
