Solar Observing: On the morning of the partial solar eclipse

October 25, 2022 @ 10:00 am1:00 pm

Visit the Herschel Museum of Astronomy to have the opportunity to take part in daytime astronomy on the morning of the partial solar eclipse from the very garden the Planet Uranus was discovered in 1781.

The solar telescopes and Bath Astronomers will be in the garden from 10:00am to 1pm to safely guide you in observing the Sun  and tell you more about your nearest star and solar eclipses.

The partial solar eclipse will occur from 10:09am to 11:49am GMT.

Also you will be able to make a pinhole camera in the gallery as a drop in craft activity.

Free with normal admission to the museum

Generously supported by the Bath Astronomers
