Visit the Herschel Museum of Astronomy to take part in night time astronomy on the anniversary of Caroline Herschel’s discovery of her 5th Comet, Comet C/1791 X1 (Herschel) discovered on 15th December 1791. from the very garden the Planet Uranus was discovered in 1781.The Bath Astronomers will be at the museum with their telescopes to guide you around the Winter night sky.
This event will go ahead rain or shine, as you will be able to visit the museum and the Bath Astronomers will be able to provide talks.
Tickets are limited to 20 people.
