Melvyn Bragg's programme "In our Time" next Thursday (11 Nov) is about Caroline and William Herschel. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0011c4p It's at 09.00-09.45 and partially repeated 21.30-22.00 in the evening.  The contributors are Monica Grady, Jim Bennett and Carolin Crawford Grab a coffee, take a seat and sit back and listen!

This May half term come and make your own spinning pinwheel galaxy in our museum gallery. This drop in craft activity is free with your museum ticket. The activity runs from Sat 28 May - Sun 5 June when the museum is open.
