At the Herschel Museum we believe that learning never ends and we are proud to provide both formal and informal learning opportunities for adults of all ages.
We work closely with our local higher education partners, the University of Bath and Bath Spa University, to provide valuable hands on learning experiences for undergraduate and postgraduate students across a range of subjects. In recent years students of history, heritage, drama and film have been supported by university and museum staff to deliver real life projects for the museum and its visitors. Through such projects, or work placements, students gain skills, confidence and experience to support future career choices.
We also regularly welcome university groups from all over the world and can provide talks and tours focussing on any aspect of the museum and its collections.
